Based on our understanding of the articles it has become evident that Shearling Coats have made a comeback over the last couple of years. 

With stars like Chloe Grace Moretz, Karlie Kloss and Alexa Chung rocking creating timeless aesthetically pleasing styles it is no wonder that this particular clothing garment provides creative inspiration for fall outfit ideas. In an article entitled “ Fall 2018 Trend: Fake News” discussing the appearance of faux fur and erasure of real fur on European runways, Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) singlehandedly identified the fashion industry’s new wave. Going from Real Fur to faux fur. In fact, haute couture brands such as Versace, Gucci, and Stella McCartney are becoming fur-free.

With the industry’s new take on sustainability W Magazine writes, “ faux fur appeared on nearly every major runway, with Claire Waight Keller’s showing at Givenchy one shining example”. Stars such as Solange Knowles and Gigi Hadid alike are captured wearing the garment in both neutral and bright colors, showing us the versatility of the garment and how well looks can be executed.

Furthermore, faux fur is for the woman who names herself every woman, enjoys dining with her loved ones and also herself and will never say no to brunch. In fashion publication, Harper’s Bazaar, fashion columnist Lauren Alexis Fisher listed leather jackets amongst the five dominant jacket trends to shop in time for fall. Ironically enough, the writer mentioned the shearling coat trend as well as the plaid jacket to include within the list.

Furthermore, it’s no secret that leather jackets are in and as they’re known for versatility, you can wear this jacket to nights out at a concert, a trip to the cider mill and/or even at a fancy event.
